When model and hair artist Kayra Theodore walked into her sixth-grade class with bows in her hair, she became the victim of bullying. "I was the only Black kid in the class and all the kids made fun of my hair," she told Fashionista. "They'd say, 'You look like a child,' and 'You look like a dinosaur.' It's been rumored for years but has officially become a reality: The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that its Spring 2027 Costume Institute exhibition will spotlight designer John Galliano , marking the first major museum show dedicated to his four-decade career. He's only the third living designer to receive a solo exhibition following Yves Saint Laurent in 1983 and Rei Kawakubo in 2017. The exhibition is titled "John Galliano: Horizons," and will be open May 9, 2027 through Jan. 9, 2028, at Great Hall Gallery in The Condé M. Nast Galleries at The Met Fifth Avenue in New York City.
