The Assisted Pull-Up with Betina Gozo | Good Form | Nike
You want to do a pull-up, but aren't quite there yet? No sweat. With a little help from a resistance band and Nike Master Trainer Betina Gozo, you'll be on your way to stronger muscles, more confidence - and the real deal. 1. Stand on a box under a pull-up bar, then loop the resistance band over the bar. Step one foot in the band and grab the bar with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder width. 2. Step off the box to hang from the bar. Extend your legs slightly in front of you, to start. 3. Pull your shoulders back and down and squeeze your back, abs, and butt as you pull yourself up until your chin clears the bar. 4. Slowly lower to return to starting position. That's 1 rep.
